The Mad Bull’s Blog, Version 3

Wassup, wassup, wassup, y’all? What a gwaan? You know, yesterday, we had an issue with an important PC at work. It provides a very important function, and basically, it died. A few other guys and I laboured on it long and hard and eventually one of us managed to resusitate it. We immediately declared that it was a feat worthy of celebration and so we repaired to one of our favourite bars to drink to our success.

I have been in similar situations in Jamaica many times before, but I don’t recall ever heading out to bars to celebrate like that. I wonder why that is? I mean, I am finding it to be a very civilised practice, especially as our boss offered to pick up the tab.

Anyway, we had a blast, I even tried out a new drink, Bacardi Limon and Sprite, it tastes quite nice, y’all must try it, if you haven’t done so already. The only thing is, I am thinking its probably pretty fattening.

Hey I spotted RI of Revolution Island in the bar too. Now I know why he doesn’t blog so often! He is out partying all the time! Anyways…

People, we Jamaicans really love our beauty pageants! Because of that, I was able to find more pictures of this year’s crop of contestants in the Miss Jamaica World (MJW) competition! Here is one that previously slipped under my radar, but who I hear is a crowd favourite and I can see why! I give you Yendi Philips!

She lookin’ real good, yo! Look at that stomach…. mmmmmm! Sweet face, hot body overall… She is a contender, ladies and gentlemen! She looks like she was having a spot of hair trouble though. She needs to fly in Natty to nurture her hair for her and then she would be saying ONE!!!

The thing is, she was not one of the contestants I originally selected based upon looking at those pictures posted on the MJW website (which I linked to about two posts ago). That shows you the value of looking at as many pictures of the ladies as you can get your hands on if you want to make a good selection.

Here is another nice dawtah in the competition, Tiffany Ellis.

Nice, definitely nice… not a front runner in my opinion though, but you never know what some of those damn fool judges will do, you know, and so the stone that the builder refused could well turn out to be the cornerstone!

Only thing is, if Tiffany wins, somebody else better pick her wardrobe, judging by this outfit she chose to wear while strutting her stuff at Sovereign. (I am assuming that she chose to wear that excuse for a frock). See it below in this photo of herself and Yendi.

Now she is looking quite nice too, but overall, I think that Jody Shaw, Yendi Philips, and Rossina Casserley are in front of her.

Here is a nicel looking young lady, she is Racquel Powell, I don’t think I showed you her picture before. She looking good too, but she is bubbling just under my top three of Yendi, Jody and Rossina, IMHO.

So there you have it, I have given you some more pictures of the contestants so as to help you all make your own selections as to who should be crowned queen in the Miss Jamaica World competition! I hope for some lively discussion in the comments, after all, the site where I got those pictures was pretty lively indeed. Please don’t disappoint me, dear readers.

Oh, it is Friday, isn’t it? So what you all plan to do this evening? Me, well, Shaggy Rayvon and Rik Rok are here in concert tonight, I might take Natty, if something can be done re the baby sitter situation, but thats unlikely. Hey, rumour has it that the King of the Dancehall, Beenie Man is scheduled to touch down here in Grand Cayman for a concert! If there is any truth to that rumour, you know say ME HAFFI DEHDEH!

Anyway, thats the future. We have to focus on this weekend and the possible pleasure to be derived from it, so…
