Some Good Advice…

Some people have said that Fergie sings nonsensical songs, but this ain’t one of them. Hear the lyric: If you ain’t got no money, take your broke ass home!

Nuh some good advice that! Rahtid. Anyway, this is MBJr.’s favourite song. You want to hear him singing it: “First Class….”

Fergie - Glamorous

Anyway, you know how they say that you eat way more than normal when you stay up late? Well, its true. I just stuffed my mouth with two slices of ham, and a plastic container of fruit, and then I had a hunk of bread in that that is getting prettier and prettier by the second, so I think I am going to sign off now… Yah man, fi real! Tell you what? I have up some more posts on my other sites (El Toro Loco and The Tower of Babel) so go ye forth and check that stuff out! Yeah!

  1. Fergie really annoys me…I’m baffled by the lack of coordination in her body and her face.

Her body is amaaazing; from the neck down she looks like a 25 year old. But from the neck up, she looks like she got beaten about the face with a sack of irish potatoes. And I’m really not hating…I can’t understand why her face looks so old. Maybe it’s the battle scars from her crystal meth addiction? Mi nuh know.

Her songs are no more nonsensical than Beyonce’s, IMHO.

Does anyone sing anything with real lyrics anymore, though? I mean really…when you listen isn’t it all just catchy beats and no substance…ok, with a few exceptions (Ne-Yo’s lyrics seem to have some thought behind them).

  2. MBJ and I have a lot in common. I DETEST that Umbrella song, though I find the Fergie song tolerable. Light and easy to absorb. Will not change the world with th song, but….

  3. That surely is true, as I’m eating like a former ass during the summer.

  4. @ spuyten duyvil : I dunno, I don’t have any problem with the face I see staring out of her videos, but that is probably heavily made up. The thing with singing stuff with good lyrics is that people don’t want that. Why sing something with great lyrics if you’ll starve doing it? But still, I see your point.

At Afroditee : How many songs can claim to have changed the world though? BTW, does this mean you have a post up or wah? :?:

@ Leon : Eating like a former ass?

  5. That is my song! But MB yuh kinda late!!! It did not get the air play it deserved. I think the industry that pushes what passes for Hip Hop now is conspiring against her!

  6. Hmm again I have to disagree. I think there are a few people who have quality lyrics and are still successful.

You are right: no one makes world changing music much anymore but I think Green Day, Kweli et. al are the closest we’re gonna get for our generation.

  7. @ Spuyten Duyvil : I don’t know who Kweli is. I love Green Day, they do have great lyrics and they do make good money. As for world changing music though, I dunno… which of their songs has changed the world and by how much? Quantifying it is difficult, isn’t it? Has any of their songs really changed anything or is it the case that ideas already being espoused by millions have found their way into Green Day’s lyrics? Hmmm…

@ Gooders Girl : Yeah, I like the song. It wasn’t getting played much, in fact I didn’t know who sang it. I just stumbled across it. I don’t think there is any conspiracy though…

  8. By the way, I took a look at some pictures of Fergie and I don’t think she is as bad as you made out, Spuyten Duyvil. She isn’t a Miss World, but she’s ok to look at, facially. Her body is definitely shocking out though! Click here for the most unflattering picture, or click here for several pictures of the Fergilicious one.
