Nuff Respect!

Congratulations to Yendi Phillips, Miss Jamaica World 2007! Hey, I hope you noticed how the three girls I liked came in first, second and third. Granted, they didn’t come in quite in the order I felt they should have, but thats not really a biggie… I am quite happy for any of the three to win because the three of them are swee-eet! Anyway, if I were gambling, you know that I would still win a good money. I would have bought win & place tickets on the three of them! After Mad Bull not fool fool! When three girls so hot, you can’t predict which one will get the nod unless you are there at the competition!
Anyway, a big up goes out to my three queens! Nuff respect, I think they’ll do Jamaica proud.
A big up also goes out to Veronica Campbell who took gold in the 100 Metres race in the IAAF World Athletics Championships. She said she dedicated the gold to me! How sweet of her! Thanks, darling!
Bwoy, I am sorry for Asafa Powell though… he is full of talent, but obviously he is not a big race sort of guy. He needs someone to work with him on strengthening his mind. When you are at that level, you’d be surprised to know just how much of a role the mind plays in things! I am sorry for him though… Bummer…
On a personal note, mi tired this morning, you see! I just received the second season of Lost (the TV Series on ABC) last Saturday, it has seven DVDs and I have been watching thm non stop since then! Bwoy, when you watch a show as a series on television, at the end of a show, thats it! You just have to wait till next week for the next show in the series, but when you have the DVD, well, each show ends at such a high point that its almost impossible not to watch the next show immediately after, no matter what the time, what you have to do the next day or whatever! Anyway, I finished DVD # 6 last night, so I only have one to go and then I can get some rest. Pray for me that I don’t flake out at work today though…
@ Seven : You were wondering if I would go for the “Lost, the Third Season DVD” after this? Well, I definitely am! The show is great! Only, I think I will wait for a couple of weeks first! I need to wash some clothes, clean up the house, spend some time with MBJr. and so on first before spending so much time in front of the TV watching Lost again!
By the way, folks, if you want to know what Seven and MBJr. were up to in Fort Lauderdale while Natty and I were here in Grand Cayman, hunkering down for Hurricane Dean, just click here to go to Seven’s blog to read all about it….
>>>She said she dedicated the gold to me! How sweet of her! Thanks, darling!
you have a knack for picking the ladies, i guess we all have our own unique talents.
I know what you mean about those boxed sets.I’m still witing for someone to lend me Lost though cause I usually watch the first episode of the series and the finale and not much in between so i wud like to get some of the in between story
Can’t say I can get into Lost but I did watch all of Prison Break in ONE weekend. The beauty of no ads, and only bathroom breaks - can’t be beat. (^-^) I even had popcorn and beer, not necessarily together. Hee hee.
I’m currently into 5 seasons of 24 and Smallville (hey, I grew up with Superman ok?), and House.
“She said she dedicated the gold to me! How sweet of her! Thanks, darling!”
Wish i had something to say… so it go
LOST!!! Chups - check out “The Shield” My #1 then “Battlestar Galactica” - my #2. Then you” ll know what its REALLY like to be unable to go to sleep - you just HAVE to watch the next episode!!!
Congrats to her. Didn’t hear much about Miss Ja in the local media. Yendi. Odd name. Go Veronica. Next time Asafa.
I knew Yendi was going to win. For the past 3 years I’ve been picking the winners correctly. So I picked Terri Garrelle, Sara Lawrence and then Yendi. I can’t seem to get anyone else right though. The winner is usually easy, if they have a certain personalilty to go with the beauty it’s a definite shoo-in
I picked Yendi in my top three as well… but I didn’t see any of the other two coming in. Mad Bull got me there… because I did issue him a challenge after he made his picks. Thank goodness he did not take me up on it cause ah wouldah lose bad!
@ Fiyah : Challenge? What challenge?
@ Gela : I suspected that Yendi would win too, because just from looking at her pictures and watching the little beenie videos they had on the beauties, her personality came across to me kind of like Cathy Levy… not that I am saying she is exactly like her, but she seems to have a lively, vivaceous personality, and that coupled with her looks would make her a big threat.
Jody Shaw seemed like that too as well, but I had a sense that she would be more “real”. Plus, she looked the best to me.
Who knows, maybe if I was there to see more of Yendi, she would have been my pick. I am certainly not unhappy with her winning…
I don’t even remember which one I liked. right now I vex I mising the athletics since when the finals running am at school..sigh.At least I get to see heats at nights
Bull… check dih initial Miss Jamaica blog yuh made. I actually issued you a challenge in my comments on that blog. But doh worry’ bout it still… yuh miss yuh chance at bragging rights
A thought MB was sharper than that, ……missed out ……uh? How yuh mek Fiyah get whey?
I not gonna lie still i man vex seh tina never come up more in the competition. Look on that body star. jeez the thickness.. the roundness… sigh.
