Pure Mad Tings
In the previous post’s comments I mentioned that Natty and I were going to fly MBJr. out… Yow! the little man was on a flight scheduled to depart at 10:30pm. The check in time was therefore 7:30pm. Natty and I took MBJr and Auntie J to the airport at 7:00pm, you know! Can you believe I am just getting back home at 4:10am the next morning! Suppose you see people at the airport! It was mad, it was sick! And then all the flights were delayed for hours, and check in took FOREVER! It was bloody torture! Anyway, he has flown out.Aaghhh!
Anyway, I going to drink a “Cup-a-soup” and then I gone to bed!
talk about worst times to fly
well glad you got him out of there. stay safe
MadBull, glad MBJr is safe. You and your family stay safe now.
Blessings,
Geoffrey
The poor little guy had a jolt of energy when we picked them up, but has completely crashed out now!!! He’s been asleep for the past few hours. Auntie J, I believe, is probably sleeping too upstairs as she was also really tired.
But they’re safe and sound. Now we just need for Mamacita, Ambi and Bets to stay safe in JA and for you and Natty to stay safe there!
Love Ya!

Okay, its now 4:30 - MBJr. woke up about 30 minutes ago and is now esconced in the jacuzzi watching Spong Bob Square Pants - talk about living life!!!
Don’t worry Natty - I remembered the sunblock!!!
MB,
Just checking in to wish you well. Good luck!
Mad Bull - thoughts and prayers are with you. Hope we hear from you soon.
Stay safe Iyah! Glad you got Jnr out… bless up. Saying a likkle prayer for you..
Pray you are safe and that you stay that way. Still in my prayers and be back for updates.
well at least one of you will be safe…..we praying for you guys today. Do some ireporting and ley we know how things went
We are all safe, guys… the hurricane changed course while passing Jamaica and the new heading resulted in the storm passing 120 miles south of Grand Cayman. We got lots of wind, very little rain. Natty and I were sitting at the garage door watching most of it… I think the highest wind speeds we saw were about 80 mph.
We had very little damage, in fact the lights and the water are back on islandwide tonight and most companies are instructing their workers to show up for work tomorrow.
Thank God you don’t work for Domino’s Pizza in Grand Cayman, they had their workers show up from 5 o’clock this evening!
Sort of heartless mofos! I mean, as a pizza eater, its nice, but the workers must have shyte to deal with after the storm just like the rest of us, you know?!
Anyway, praises be to the Almighty, and thanks to all who dropped some prayers on our behalf.
Bless!
glad you made it through safe man
I told you already - there should be a mandatory three day stay-of-work after a hurricane watch (once they advise you to batten down the hatches, essentially) so that you can unprepare and unwind from stress!!!
I mean - if a hurricane actually hits - there are many days off to recover - well, the fact that a hurricane did not actually hit at the last minute does not take away from the whole work-up to preparing for the event!!! Please feel free to print and take to your Superiors tomorrow!!!
I agree with 7. I feel like somebody beat me up. I started to feel the aches and pains the minute i realized that the storm wasnt coming here again and the adrenaline stopped. Now I am at work reconnecting computers and rearranging the place. Lord have mercy. I just wanted to loaf out today. The stress was enough.
