Chat ‘Bout!

I bet you never expected to hear anything from me tonight… well, not if you read my last post anyway. Well, I like to surprise you, keep you on your toes, as it were. As such, I made it a point of duty to find something to write about tonight. Well, it being the case that you will read this post on Friday, I thought I would give you a little gift to start the day out right!

Here is a picture of Yendi Phillips, Miss Jamaica World 2007! She ought to put a smile on the face of all the men who pass through, and maybe even some of the women, she looks that scrumptious!

I notice she has started out on the charity works even before the Miss World Pageant! She has arranged a Fashion Show for charity, and it seems to be really worthy charities too. All you Yardie bloggers should support it. Seems she is an enterprising young miss!

Second up, the gym. Marangand asked me in an email how much weight I have lost. Well, I have lost about two pounds. Two deggeh deggeh pounds!

That is not bad though! I am not letting that get me down, trust me! Why not? Well, heck, I JUST started at the gym! Its only been about two weeks now! Also, I haven’t really done anything to my diet. I am eating almost the same, I just haven’t been beating as much liquor and I have been drinking plenty of water. Now if I can bring myself to eat only of the glamity after 7:00pm, I will be well on my way! Its the late night snacking that messes you up, you know! Glamity not fattening though. God wouldn’t be so wicked!

On top of that, my target for weight loss isn’t all that much. Its only about 10 – 15 lbs. If I reach ten, I am good, and I have knocked off two already.

Bwoy, one thing I can tell you though, it can be so hard to drag yourself out to the gym! So damned hard! The thing I find so amazing about it though is that after you go, you feel so good! Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying its better than sex or anything! It is probably better than lying around and cuddling and talking about supermarket lists and what happened today at work and stuff like that though!

NO! Natty! I just kidding! Doh brindle pon me, do!

You know what, thats now a touchy subject, lets talk about something else.

Hey, Ubuntu 7.10 is now available for download! I am downloading the desktop version as we speak. I finished downloading the server version already. I am going to upgrade this PC I am using now on the weekend with Version 7.10. Isn’t that a good thing? Its nice to do something new or get a taste of something new now and again, you know! You all should try it. Go to Ubuntu.com and download it and give it a try yourself. Thanks go out to Taylor for the heads up on Ubuntu.

People, I have just discovered that Owen is one mean breddah! Imagine, I have been trying a thing for some time now at writing those random posts like he does, right? I finally did what I thought was a great job and I asked the man to rate it out of ten. You know what score the man gave me? A deggeh-deggeh 7 out of 10! Can you imagine?

You know what? Oonoo go read the post yourself and tell me if its not on par with or nearly as good as anything Owen has done recently (just the random posts I am talking about). Here are three examples of Owen’s recent work: Example one, example two and example three.

Actually, perhaps we will soon have to have a randomness competition, because Bobby has been saying he will soon try his hand at it, and also, Island Spice sort of wikid when she ready to buss a random one on us, trust me!

There is more…

Anyway, this one is getting sort of long! At the risk of chatting you to death, I think I want to post up two jokes for you… after all, we can all use a laugh, and on a Friday, jokes can help set the mood right for the weekend, nuh true? Plus, for the men who plan to party solo tomorrow evening, perhaps oonoo can try out the idea in this first joke :

Coming home late

Two married buddies are out drinking one night when one turns to the other and says, “You know, I don’t know what else to do. Whenever I go home after we’ve been out drinking, I turn the headlights off before I get to the driveway. I shut off the engine and coast into the garage. I take my shoes off before I go into the house, I sneak up the stairs, I get undressed in the bathroom. I ease into bed and my wife STILL wakes up and yells at me for staying out so late!”

His buddy looks at him and says, “Well, you’re obviously taking the wrong approach. I screech into the driveway, slam the door, storm up the steps, throw my shoes into the closet, jump into bed, rub my hands on my wife’s butt and say, ‘How about a blow job?’…and she’s always sound asleep!”

That one is good, sah! Hey, Bobby, I suspect that you will probably try this one out! Tell us how it works out, nuh?

Americans Always Do the Wrong Thing, Don’t They?

The train was quite crowded, so a U.S. Marine walked the entire length looking for a seat. But the only seat left was beside a well-dressed, middle-aged French woman, who had her Poodle sitting on it.

The war-weary Marine asked, “Ma’am, may I have that seat?”. The French woman just sniffed and said to no one in particular, “Americans are so rude. My little Fifi is using that seat.”.

The Marine walked the length of the entire train again, but still the only seat left was under that dog. “Please ma’am, may I sit down? I’m very tired.”.

She snorted, “Not only are you Americans rude, you are also arrogant!”. This time the Marine didn’t say a word. He just picked up the little dog, tossed it out the window, and sat down.

The woman shrieked, “Someone must defend my honour! Put this American in his place!”.

An English gentleman sitting nearby spoke up. “Sir, you Americans seem to have a penchant for doing the wrong thing. You hold the fork in the wrong hand. You drive your cars on the wrong side of the road, and now, sir, you seem to have thrown the wrong bitch out the window.”.

Kyah kyah! Dat deh one deh had me laughing, bwoy! (That one really had me laughing, boy!) Anyway, me gone! You all enjoy the weekend, you hear! Peace.

p.s. One rahtid piece of rain is falling outside and Natty told me the weatherman said this would continue over the weekend! As others have been asking, who pissed off the damned ninja rain, sah?! Cho!
