Bwoy, Mad Bull, Good Friday ,for me ,was an extremely long church service,flying kites after church, copious fried fish& bammie, copious bun & cheese, Easter hard dough duck bread,placing an egg in a glass of water and hoping a ship or plane would be the image formed, which indicated that you would be travelling to some foreign country,cutting the fig tree in my backyard and hoping to see blood.And of course more church on Sunday. RESPECT STAR, have a good Easter!!
Esteban, Good Friday was all about chillin’ at the yard with the fambily. Played a lot of dominos with Natty and MBJr. Ate fish and bun and cheese. Didn’t make it to church, but did reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice for us.
I think that is a beautiful picture too, by the way.
One of the few religious holidays that is actually still religious. As they say at church, thank God for Jesus.
