I’ve been listening to Kid Rock’s “Rock and Roll Jesus” album. Its quite good… Below is a bit of lyrics from one of the songs I really like.

I fell like that sometimes (excepting that I-an-I pass 36 a while aback! 
) , and I agree with his sentiment that you have to keep on having a good time. Of course, Kid Rock’s version of having a good time is a bit more risque than mine, but its all good…

I like a lot of the songs on the album. I didn’t know Kid Rock was so talented. I just saw him on MTV and so on a coupla times, and heard he was with Pam Anderson and I sized him up as a little punk (not because of Pam, but anyway), but he is quite good.

@Owen: Now and again, I try to listen to stuff thats not playing on the radio, because they play the same stuff and the same types of stuff over and over again. I didn’t think the music was country, perhaps more country influenced rock music, but I’ll take your word for it. The thing is, did you like it or not? I know you probably did and that is what you find most disturbing of all, isn’t it? Admit it!
Anyway, there are hard, driving rock songs on the album too….

Oookkkkaaayyyyy! Uh, I never listed to him before and I don;t really like country. But I guess that’s a good message to keep enjoying life, no matter our age. Damn star, I too feel like it was yesterday I was 16 and even though I haven’t reached 36, it’s damn frightening!
