Ok, I’m going out on a limb again… who cares whether this breddah likes men or women? Is he a good police officer? Is he running down little boys? If he is a good officer, and if he leaves men under eighteen alone, why do we care?

I agree with you. Unfortunately, society is of such that they do care that he is gay. I didn’t listen to the clip but I guess it is a question of entrusting someone with his sexual orientation with the responsibility to protect, serve and assure, given that he should be protecting, serving and assuring men, little boys, etc.

What does his sexuality has to do with his professional career. How many women cops are lesbians? No one know or cares, so why care about the brother. LIke Madd says, if he ein running after the little boys or other cops then let him do his job and leave him alone. At least he working and ein out dey trying tuh rob, abuse, murder sumbodie
Jamaican people have this flaw with them. They concern themselves with other peoples business too much.In other words, we faass! Homosexuality is a problem here, even if it is by consent. Sometimes people should mind their own business. There is a saying ” Dem a watch ppl business while fi dem own a spoil” and it’s so true.
His sexuality may not have anything to do with his job. I’ve heard of a lot of Policemen in Ja who are Gay, but i guess he is brazen with his sexuality. Chances are he is either dead already, soon dead or being killed right now if any homophobic uneducated person knows his where abouts.
Jamaica is a homophobic country because of its high religious beliefs i think. We are not as open as other nations and is still stuck in the golden way of doing things.
