The Mad Bull’s Blog, Version 3

Bwoy, today was a motherfucker! Yeah, I know I don’t usually spell out the filthy cuss words, but today warranted it! First of all, I woke up a bit tired, because I went out last night and came in sufficiently late that I woke up a bit tired this morning, seen? So then I get up, get ready and go to work… full day! Next thing, at about quarter after five I remember I have a reporting session with MBJr.’s teacher, then a PTA meeting. Yup! It sucks big time, but someone has to do it!

Now usually the school doesn’t give homework when they have a PTA meeting, seen, but MBJr.’s teacher forgot there was a PTA meeting today and so homework was set, and a significant portion of said homework was Maths.

MBJr. has been having problems with Maths (thats the only subject that causes him trouble, poor little tyke), and so I had to help him with it. As a result, have been ‘at work’ from 8:40am until 10:30pm! Sun up to bedtime, to rass!

Makes me wonder how people with four and five kids handle it! Where do they find the time to raise these kids properly, man?!

Well, anyway, when the homework was finished, I decided to unwind by mixing myself a drink and watching the most current episode of Showtime’s series, Californication. That episode just finished, and so now I have a wait of another week before I can feed my addiction to this TV Show. Yeah, I know, it sucks! I told you today was a motherfucker, right!

So I am once again at the point where I have caught up to the bleeding edge in a television series. Yeah, I have recently plowed through the twelve episodes of Season One of Californication, the twelve episodes of Season Two and the ten episodes (so far) of Season Three. How much is that, thirty four? Yeah, thirty four episodes. Well, maybe ‘plowed through’ is the wrong expression, because I enjoyed all 952 minutes of it! (according to Wikipedia, each episode is about 28 minutes long, on average).

It is so sad when you get caught up with the current show… then you have to wait for the next episode, and then, Horror of HORRORS! The season ends, and you have to wait months for the next season! I just saw that there are only two more episodes in Season three, can you believe it?! Damn… I much prefer when I am behind the current show. Anyway… there is nothing I can do about it.

So what do you think of this series? Do you watch it? Californication is a man’s show, I’m thinking… it is about men behaving badly, and I don’t know if women will really appreciate it. I know Natty is always grumbling about Hank’s behavior, and she has accused me of liking the show mainly because I get to see plenty of titties and because I wish that I could do the things that Hank does. Me, I took the fifth amendment on that one!

I can see why she would think so, after all, its probably nice to fantasize that you could be like Hank Moody, and be able to have almost any woman in sight! I mean, imagine that you went out and spotted a couple of hotties such as these that I have posted below and you could be confident that you would probably end up the evening with one of the two, or if you put out a little effort, perhaps you could even bag them both!

Because, make no mistake, it seems that this is what it is like for Hank!

Notice I said ‘probably‘ above. I admit to NOTHING! Do not assume that I am subject to the desire to be like Hank! I am just saying, I can see where some men might want that shit.

Anyway, it is definitely one of my favourite TV series that I have watched recently. Its right up there with Battlestar Galactica and Weeds. Checking Showtime’s site about this episode made me realise that Showtime shows THREE of my favourite series, i.e. The Tudors, ‘Weeds and now Californication. Big up, Showtime, you large fi real!

People, I am going to run! Its almost midnite again, and I have work tomorrow. Peace.
