Physiotherapy Sometimes Sux

So, I have been doing physiotherapy. Why? Haven’t you read my previous post? If not, just scroll down, nuh? Anyway, for the most part, the physio is cool. As an example, the lady does a nice little massage on my knee, you see! It is so good! Indeed, if she would just finish it off with a handjob or a blowjob, it would be perfect, but I don’t think she is that type of a woman, and so far, I haven’t been able to screw up the courage to ask. :( Just kidding! :lol:

So they have me doing a bunch of exercises designed to strengthen the knee. For the most part, they are easy! Hell, I am progressing so well that they even have me on the stationary bicycle already! I love that, actually! I am hoping I will be able to get back on a real bicycle very soon! :smile:

So why do I say it sucks? Well, there are four exercises that I am supposed to do that I absolutely hate! One is where you lie on your back and bend your toes and instep in the direction of your head as hard as you can, while at the same time pushing the back of your calf / knee against the ground. Actually, that exercise is not so much bad as it is tiring! :|

Then, right after doing that, the second exercise: you do the same thing with your leg, i.e. flex the instep towards your head, but this time you do a straight leg raise at the same time. You are supposed to maintain flexing the instep as hard as you can throughout the leg raise. In between each leg raise, when you rest your foot on the ground, you are supposed to relax, then flex it and do it again. Ten reps are done of that.

Immediately after doing that, you move on to the third exercise: do the same thing again, but with the leg swiveled so that the toes are pointing diagonally to the right. Of course, you still have to flex the instep as hard as you can throughout the exercise. Ten reps again. Thennnn, you do it AGAIN, but with the toes pointing diagonally to the left! Again, ten reps.

The ten reps is the starting figure for each of these exercises. You are supposed to gradually increase it. I am not too proud to tell you that I haven’t increased the number of reps by even one! In fact, if I do them all one right after the other as the woman says I should, I can’t even get to 10 reps by the time I am doing the third exercise! I am lucky if I do six! :roll:

I have to be splitting them up so that I can do the full ten of each exercise! Trust me, they are hard as fuck! :cry:

Yep, when I am doing those, physiotherapy sucks! The rest of the time though, I love it, especially that massage! I am going to leave you now… I am going to ice my knee.
