The Lime Cay Pictures

I had hoped to add a link to the Lime Cay pictures by now, but that plan has been foiled by Tripod. I decided to save space on my domain by keeping the pictures at my free Tripod site.

I didn’t want to build nineteen webpages, (yeah, there are nineteen pictures) so I decided to build a perl script to display the pictures. CGI at Tripod is a bit problematic though… They do many things differently than it is done elsewhere. Anyway, I’m part way there. I can’t give up just yet, then I’d consider myself a wuss! I just have to try to figure out the kinks, dammit! So the pictures aren’t ready yet! Please bear with me.

Ok. I decided to upload at least the perl script to my domain, and with a couple of quick modifications, it started to work. The pages are simple, but enjoy the pictures, ok.

  1. perl script, Tripod, CGI, whatever the hell all that means to me. NADA! Pardon the poor technopeasant, this is not what you spend learning in Medical School.

  2. Beautiful! I need to visit soon.
Why is it busier on Sunday? Beaches are more crowded on Saturday here.

  3. Interesting question, wKen. I usually go on a Saturday myself. I don’t know the answer to that one. What do you think, Dr. D?

  4. What a beautiful place, those boats! Do you ever want a boat Mad Bull? I’d love to own a boat but there is nowhere here to sail it.

  5. Yes, I’d love one, but not on my budget. Its hard work to clean them and take care of them. I’d like to have enough to own and hire people to take care of the boat.

  6. No clue why it’s more crowded on Sundays. Either day is fine for me, in fact I don’t like crowds, it’s just that there will be more to see when the crowd is large.

  7. MB - Thanks for the photos - a nice reminder of the beauty of Jamaica - something to do on my next visit.

  8. some people got all the luck ::eyeroll::

  9. I guess Ryan will be rooting for the beer drinkers on Sunday eh?

  10. Oh man. I really want to go on vacation, now.

  11. It wasn’t just that the sand looked so inviting, but that I could swear I could smell the ocean, the suntan lotion, and the limes.

  12. It’s really a cool place ….I have been their many times …It’s been a total fun start from boat ride to the FUN of beaches ….I think every visitor of Jamaica should explore the island.
