What up?
Well, election campaigning is moving up into second gear. The J.L.P. has promised free education as one campaign promise. The P.N.P. has been saying that it is impossible for them to provide free education, but it seems the people are warming to the idea… Now the P.N.P. promises free education by 2005.
Suddenly the impossible is within their grasp.
Yes, both parties are on the road having mass political meetings at various points in the island. They are bad mouthing each other, and lying about what they’ll give us, and spending money fixing roads and infrastructure that should have been fixed centuries ago… That last point applies to the P.N.P. who are in power now, but it has applied equally to the J.L.P. when they were in power. They both take the populace as a bunch of idiots. The J.L.P., who were the most silent opposition I can ever remember, are making mountains out of every molehill.
They are all a bunch of charlatans and confidence men. No better than your basic “three card man”. In my opinion, all the members of both parties are basically liars, and I’m sure most Jamaicans believe that. That is why we call politics “politricks”! It seems to me that Politics is best described as the practice of fooling as many people as you can to gain power, and its practice does involve playing many tricks on the population at large. Maybe that word should be spelt “polytricks”, as the prefix “poly” means many… ergo “Many Tricks”! And instead of calling its practitioners politicians, lets call them polyticks, because they are all a bunch of effing blood suckers… but I am getting worked up. I’ll stop here for tonight on this issue.
Bought some guinep today again, dem did sowah, you see!!! (They were so sour) Jeesam Peece, dem did sowah, dem did sowah so till (My gosh they were so effing sour!) You know what? That must have been a sign. I have bought two bunches of sour guineps since the season has started, it must mean something! That sour taste is a warning to us Jamaicans… Kind of like the “Ides of March” warning in Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar”. It means that if we put our faith in either political party, we will be left with a very sour taste in our mouths, as they all will only let us down, and very badly at that!
We need to plan and put our plans in place to help ourselves and to protect ourselves from the fallout that their policies cause. I have been given a sign today, and it would be remiss of me not to warn the rest of you. Depend only upon yourselves! Awoah! A word to the wise is sufficient.
Ok, I’m really going to leave that topic alone now. In fact, I’m going to take a small break and get the vitriol out of my system… Later.

I like the coinage of polyticks. Maybe you should patent the word. Another one that could be added to the creative ones you have thought of is polyPRICKS!! Because they are indeed many (poly) of them who know nothing better than how to EF up our beloved land. Hell, we have been raped by the indiscretions of both political parties for the past 30 years. Anyhow, this topic has been exhausted. When are they going to announce the rass ELECTION DATE??
I would say that the country has been raped far more by this lot than any other. Netserve,operation pride,furniture scandal, all the bail outs,THE WHOLE ECONOMY CRASH! And those were just to skim the top. It is far too mentally exhausting to even think about it anymore. Fact is that this government seems to think that after them skin up in your face and whatever else they do to win votes and win an election…they now own the place and you work for them and they do exactly what they please. (and they love to talk about slavery when they are now THE BIGGEST BUSHA MASSAS)Believe it or not this is bordering on dictatorship and if you think it isnt then there is a very thin line. Problem is they always get away with everything they do while raping the country BUT YOU TRY NUH GIVE DEM YOUR MONEY THAT THEM TEEFIN AND CALL IT TAXES FI FAT UP THEIR POCKETS AND SEE IF YOU DONT END UP IN JAIL AND DESTITUTE WHILE THEY ARE FORGIVING THEIR FRIENDS AND COMPANY FOR BILLIONS IN DEBT! ( By the way, notice how FAT all of them are looking of late?)

covermi, MOUT MEK FI TALK, and in most cases, when it comes to politicians, them shit through them mout and not dem asshole! PJ recently did it when he went to New York. Anyhow, if you follow dem, you only get ole and tiyad before you time. We can only hope for better.

Yeah, wKen, its a fruit, kind of like the lychee, in that it has a central nut and then the flesh (the part you eat) around the nut. It is approximately the same size, and the exterior is a semi-hard shell that you bite and split then peel away, just like the Lychee, BUT it doesn’t taste like the lychee.
