Dem really “Basic” fe true!

In 2002, six hundred of our basic schools are still utilizing pit latrines! I wonder if this is why the Government calls them “basic” schools? Why didn’t this story break during the election campaigning, when we were being regaled with storys of the P.N.P.’s contribution to all things Jamaican, including Education. And now, its the citizens who’re looking to correct this situation, not the Government, of course! What else would you have expected?
Anyway, I think this is a marvelous initiative, so when the telethon to raise the required funds airs, give generously!

Well, I do agree that the pit latrine situation is indeed BASIC. However, as you rightly have said, what of the government’s plan to improve education? I received a letter from the “Build Jamaica Foundation” this week, with a pledge form requesting a donation. In all honesty, they were asking for a minimum of a dollar a day. My question is, what does the government do with the so called eduaction tax that is deducted from our salaries each month?? Can you answer…?
Dont you see how all of them are getting really fat stomachs and chins? Well that will answer the question.
Listen - its time for you to stop all this crazy working non-stop madness and take a break - as in bring Natty and MB Jr. and come for a vacation here in Florida!!! I command it!!!!!!!!
