Spongebob.
So KD likes Spongebob Squarepants. She and some of her readers do, in fact. They mention him now and again.
Now when bloggers push something, I sometimes check it out. I have done that twice before, once with ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ (pushed by Skits) and once with ‘The Lord of the Rings’ (pushed by almost everyone). It worked with LOTR! Buffy didn’t work for me (sorry, Skits! 
). Still, I’d say you have to take a chance now and then, and it works sometimes you know? So I was already toying with the idea of watching Spongebob.
Then on Wednesday at work, a co-worker was raving about it, and she said that most of the people who sit in the vicinity of my office watch it, and they love it. Of course, I figured I must be missing something. She told me it would come on that evening, but by some odd twist of fate, it didn’t. She then told me that she would call me the next time it was coming on, sometime on the weekend. You know what? She remembered!
She called me this afternoon to say that there was going to be an hour or an hour and a half of Spongebob. I thought “Wow! Such dedication! 
It must be really good! Maybe it’ll be like ‘The Simpsons’ or something!”. So I watched it…
So, here are my impressions. Its ok. If you don’t have something important to do, sure, go ahead and watch it.
Now, after seeing what can happen when someone says something that other people might not like about something they hold to be important, I think I must hasten to add this!
KD and other Spongebob fans, and indeed Buffy fans, this does not call for a war or anything! I’m not saying these shows are crap or anything, they’re just not something I’d go too far out of my way to watch. Thats not enough for you to bust a blood vessel, now is it? I mean, we can’t all like the same things, now can we? If that were so, the world would be a pretty boring place, nuh true? Peace is the word, right guys? Right?
That said, I did get something from it! They had this talent show put on by this squid. He thought he’d really be good at dancing, but the audience really gave him a hard time, and finally he exploded and said “You’re nothing but a bunch of bottom feeders!”. I’m sure thats a play on words, don’t you think so? Hey, there are what they call bottom feeders, fish that scrounge for their food along the ocean floor, and the audience was fish, but I’m sure this was a case of double entendre.
Bottom feeders! People who suck ass! You have to admit, thats a great term to use when you’re in the middle of a nice juicy rant, don’t you think? 
I think I will use it. Look out for it, ‘k?

‘bottom feeders’ is common US slang for those ugly kind of fish that suck up the goo at the bottom of a body of water.

anyway, not everyone gets the bob. maybe if you tried a little ganja first? the colors are very trippy
not that i watch spongebob stoned. i’m just naturally kind of weird.
Spongebob….you can’t just watch him once and then walk away. You must open your mind and allow him to wander about freely. It’s a Zen thing.
Buffy? Eww! No. Sorry. Simpsons? Not so much.
But, The Bob is The Bob and that’s just how it is. Try KD’s suggestion. Or a few beers. And, grab a child to watch with you. Makes all the difference.

No for real though if you download kazza then you can get some bomb ass funny pictures and shit of Sponge Bob like when he’s stoned with a joint in his hand and his eyes are all cracked it only takes like 30 minutes to download the picture.
