Ever notice how when kids are playing a game, the rules are continually changing? What’re the rules? The rules are whatever it takes for the kid to win!
That must be one of the reasons why we enjoy being kids so much. We run the games. They exist to amuse us and we can pretty much do as we like, because the rules are so fluid, and we make the rules! It sounds nice, doesn’t it?
Go ahead and make the rules now, son. One day, you’ll realise that you can’t do this stuff anymore. The games will run you then, man. You’ll have to change to suit the rules, so enjoy yourself now while you still can…
