I Want One!

Isn’t she cute? Her name is Destiny! I think I want a dog again! Actually, I want one like that, but Natty is giving me a fight, sah! (Natty is against it, sir!)

She doesn’t like dogs in the house, and you done know that Shi Tzu’s are house dogs… Still, I want a Shi Tzu, or another small dog like that, and while we live in a town house or an apartment, house dogs are the best bet, IMHO.

What a conundrum, a lie? (don’t you agree?)

Anyway… it’ll all sort itself out in the end, I’m sure. Anyway, gotta run… I have to go and test the edge of my trusty katana…

I fear that I may have need of a good blade this night!

Come what may, I feel there is a doggy in my destiny! Jules, I am coming to tief your dawg! Awoah!

  1. My cousin Sprigadee has TWO of those miserable little critters….I don’t like them at all. The constant grooming that they have to undergo does add up by the way. And I guess you like to clean up piss and shit all the time.

I agree with Natty….dog must stay outside!

  2. Me, clean up piss and shit??!! What’re you, crazy? No, no, no, Dr. D! You’ll just have to visit more often and do that job for me! You know you’ll like it, it’ll make you feel useful…

  3. Hey go ahead and get the dog …SHI t, i might TZU you!

  4. MB, I think they are very cute too. The only thing is….I insisted that we get a dog a few years back. I had in mind a small dog. actually a Papillon, but Popsy said no small dogs, so now we have a dog that is the best dog in the world, but…..(he sheds Shi’t tzus do not, neither do Papillons. like crazy and is huge and digs to boot which drives Popsy crazy - a short trip I know)
Buddy had a two-hour long seizure the other day and now he is on medication, which actually does not cost a lot….it’s the damned blood tests that cost a small fortune!!!
There have been times when I could have done without a dog So be careful what you wish for. Think it through carefully.

  5. Hey MadBull, I have two little doggies at home. They are Lhasa Apsos and they are love of my life. Unlike Shi Tzu, they do not require much grooming and are very easy to house train (mine took a week). My dogs scratch by the door when they are ready to go. Lhasas were the dogs used by the Tibetian monks to guard inside the monastery (they had mastiffs outside) and so they are very protective too. So that is one more perk you can tell Natty..

And Dr D., dogs can stay inside and be wonderful company.

  6. Thank you, Trish, for your comments… I wonder if we can get those doggies here, though.
Ciya, I know what you mean, and will definitely think it through carefully… Natty, your talk of legal battles won’t frighten me Anyway, you should be having less complaints over us getting the doggie now that the Doc has been designated official pooper-scooper.

  7. Official pooper scooper>>>>….you lucky nuh rass! Trus me, you couldn’t pay me to do dat shit job!

Trish, sorry, I don’t like indoor dogs. My cousin’s own love to jump into the bed….sorry…not at my yard. I will romp wid dem outside.

And Natty, if you need legal advice, I know some good lawyers….and I’m sure you do too.
