Lyttle but Tallowah!

Sorry I tuned in so late, my crew! I was rather busy setting up my computer lab! I am fairly pleased with things in my little lab now… I needed two computers to load Win2K and WinXP on, over and over, to facilitate the preparations for this course I am on, and I desperately didn’t want to use my new Dell! At the same time, I didn’t want to plunk down huge amounts of money to set up what I needed, you know!

Well, CI$100 later, I am the proud owner of two Pentium II class Compaqs and an Ethernet hub which should do the job nicely, even if a mite slowly! smily

I actually had to find some memory, a CD-ROM drive and an E-IDE cable tonight to finish setting up the second Compaq, but thats all done now.

For now, I am swapping one monitor between the two PCs, but maybe I’ll be able to scare up a second one shortly…

Then, when this course is over, hey presto, I’ll promote the Compaqs to being Linux servers. I just love it when a plan comes together… smily

Hey, Kevin Lyttle’s song “Turn Me On!” has really been going places! That song was mega-hot!

Hug me, hug me,
Squeeze me, squeeze me,
Hug me, hug me,
Kiss and Caress me…

Its a wicked tune, Iyah. Anyway, the recording has taken off in Europe, making the little-known artiste an overnight star. To date, Turn Me On has sold 810,000 copies worldwide, with its biggest sales coming in Europe. I’d just like to issue a BIG UP to the man from St. Vincent, Kevin Lyttle. He really deserves it, IMHO!
