Hey! I just read a post over by yamfoot dot com. I was surprised at the topic. I thought that she would have mentioned something about the West Indies Cricket Team winning the ICC Champions Trophy today… it was today, wasn’t it? (Big up, Windies! Is this the beginning of something big!) But how come Michelle didn’t write about that? She been taken over by aliens or wha’? 
Also surprising, she wrote a l’il sup’m on a topic I planned to mention tonight, which was the pre-judging of the Miss Jamaica World competition. She was right, I did say Caroline Yapp was my choice to win. She still is, after watching some of the pre-judging. You know who looks nice too? the Soonan girl. She phat, Iya! 
Her batty was a shock out! If I was the sole judge, she would be up there in the top o’ top, look-good crew, fi real!
Anyway, Michelle wrote about what many here in Jamaica feel is a seeming preference for fairer skinned women here. She says that nappy headed, dark skinned girls don’t usually win, and that the ones who did win the Miss Jamaica didn’t do well in the Miss World competition.
