The Mad Bull’s Blog, Version 3

The DSS Doctor and Shoma have got water back! I live just around the corner from them. A bredrin who lives one road away from me says he has got back water. Do I have water? Nope!

I went around to the DSS Doc’s house and caught some water in a large container. While I was there, they were talking to their neighbour who didn’t have water running in their pipes. DSS Doc advised him to check his water meter, as the Water Company people may have turned off the water at the meter as protection against flooding out the neighbour’s house, because when they turned the water back on, no one was at home by the neighbour’s. The DSS Doc went with them and checked the meter and sure enough, the problem was that the water was turned off at the meter. They turned that back on and they had water!

I asked DSS Doc to show me what to check for and he did. I drove home like a madman, parked, ran inside and grabbed a light and went back outside to pace the perimeter of the property where I lived, looking for the water meter. Eventually, I found it. It was right near to where the electricity meter and the phone line are on the property too! How convenient for the meter readers and maintenance men!

Anyway, I popped the cover, shone my flashlight down into the water meter’s enclosure and…. it was wide open! And still, no water! Bumbo Claat!

Anyway, like how dem so near, we must get water for the weekend, don’t you think? Well? Don’t you think so?
