In a previous post I mentioned that we were house hunting and I said that I liked the Cayman style cottages, but that Natty didn’t like them. Nena asked for me to post a picture of this type of home and so you all will see it. Here is a picture of a Cayman Style house (sort of). Actually this is a more ‘up-to-date’ version of a Cayman style house. A real Cayman style cottage is quite a bit smaller, and is built from wood and is usually raised off the ground on stilts to prevent flooding. They often have mor than one of those window-in-roof things, whatever they are called. The house shown is really more what I would buy though…

Off topic, but has anyone else noticed the strange resemblence between MB and crazy NBA star Ron Artest? Atleast in the picture in the bio.

I think it is quite quaint Madbull. And no Tom, I am afraid I have never noticed the resemblance.
I’m undecided on the house. I like the top photo, but I’m trying to imagine it smaller.
btw…I think the area that bumps out onto the roof is called a “dormer” here in the US.
