Craziness!
These people are crazy, I tell you! I went into the lunchroom at work, where they have a TV. The TV was tuned to CNN and the news story involved Michael Jackson and his courtcase. Michael was on a screen and he was saying something to the news anchor lady and I thought to myself that he didn’t look like a real person at all. In fact, to me he appeared like a computer animation. What could have possessed Michael to reconstruct himself like that, Iyah?
Yeah, I know, he crazy, but anyway, he isn’t the person I was exclaiming about when I began this post! I was talking about the people who were in the lunchroom with me!
So Michael was up on the TV Monitor in the studio telling the anchorwoman that some people had been telling lies on him or something. A girl in the lunchroom said “Thats right Mike, its a lie! They’re just after your money!”. So I turned to the woman and asked her incredulously if she really thought it was a lie? “Of course”. She then turned to her friend and they began to talk about how he had not had the opportunity to live out his childhood, thats why he was doing it now, and how he was basically a good person, and all these people who have come forward are wicked money-grabbers, et cetera, et cetera, yadda yadda yadda.
I thought to myself “Bwoy, these two girls are gullible! Who would have thought that I would ever have found two people on the same day that believed that Michael was innocent after all the crap hes gone through with this ’sleeping with boys thing’, let alone two people in the same building!”. I went on to say that I thought Mike had done at least a bit more than sleep with those boys. The ladies held their ground. Mike was innocent! That was it!
So the TV news anchorwoman moved on to another news item, something about a twelve year old who had killed his parents while they were sleeping and then burned the house down with their bodies in it. After this news item was finished, I said “What we need to research now is if that 12 year old kid had ever been to spend the night with Michael at the Neverland Ranch? 
Who tell me to say so? Everyone in the lunchroom attacked me! It was worse than I imagined! I had fallen in with a nest of Michael Jackson fans, it seems! 
“How could you say something like that?”…
“Nothing doh go so!”…
“How could you be so wicked! Michael blah blah blah!”
I tell you, I laughed and laughed and laughed at them so till…. Trust me, them people mad Iyah! Them crazy!

Incidentally, I ended my talk to the schoolboys on Friday with a photo of Jacko with his pale face and horrible looking nose. I think I got my message across.
Ahm…. ah lie yuh ah tell, don’t? Tuh rahtid! Ef yuh jus’ listen de … man, I think … talk, it very, very evident seh him head nuh good… mi nuh know whey him get up tuh wid de people dem pickney, but mi know seh it cyaan any good.

I’m not judgin’ Michael; his music’s been very good to me. Hopefully he gets a fair trial. Anyfing’s possible in this crazy bizniz called life, an’ he just might be innocent! Still, I’m not a fan ov his “sleep-overs” either.
Hi Mad Bull-love the artist that’s Michael Jackson, but where there is smoke there is fire. I really feel bad for him and how his parents screwed his head. Such a great talent.
I think its the seige mentality of black folks. one of us anywhere gets accused even if he had the smoking gun in his hand and we tend to unite in trying to say its a conspiracy and he was wronged and they juss trying to take down a good man and all that b.s
Be real about it. If a man who never drinks has one drink and gets pulled over in the drive home and recieves a hefty ticket will he drive home drunk again. No. If he is not a drinker he will play it safe.
If a man is not a child molester and gets accused of doing so and recieves horrible criticizm will he put him self in the position to be accused again. Hell no!
But a drunk who is in denial of any drinking problem will continue to drive drunk despite the tickets. He will fool himself into thinking he can fool the police when he is being pushed to the side of the road. The longer he goes without being caught the more reckless and foolish his behavior will get until he is caught.
And a child molester who doesnt see what he is doing as wrong will continue his habits believing the world will understand and that he can fool everybody because he fooled them once before.
I don’t care how John Jackson treated Micheal. Mike left his home because he knew he had issues. At some point in our lives we become accountable for ourselves. So if he was abused and got his butt beat everynight he should have saught help (cause I never met a person who didn’t benefit from counseling) once he had control of doing so. The people in his life did him no good by denying he had an issue. They helped him be blind to his own sickness. If this were a no named fellow being smeared on CNN not one single person would hesitate in saying he should be hung out to *bleepin* dry. It’s amazing the sympathy people are willing to draw up for this man because we saw a movie loosely based on his life story which infact had no imput from him or his family.
Does that mean I don’t understand his abuse?
No.
Do I think it should be used as a crutch for touching those little boys?
Hell no.
I can’t begin to feel sympathetic about this and I grew up loving his music and his heart. Some shit just went too far.
MB, I just checked Scratchie’s site and saw your comments re the Portmore toll. All I was saying is that the average Portmore resident travels to work in Kingston daily and at least once on the weekend for shopping and entertainment. This works out to an annual toll of $30,400. Based on the present MOU between the government and trades unions public sector workers are allowed a maximum increase of 3% of salary. Therefore, to earn a $30,000 NET increase that person would have to be earning in the region of $1.5m annually and that would be just enough to pay the toll.

I blame Michael but at the same time, what about the children’s parents….dem never ting bout di fact of having dem children stay over in dis at least “eccentric” man’s yard!!! Mi nuh know, but it wouldn’t be mi sah!
I agree with you Ciya. When the accusations came up about Michael , if i were the police , i would arrest the parents who were making the accusations for child endangerment!
