Masked Men in Bulletproof Vests…
… and, no, they weren’t policemen! I don’t know if y’all have noticed it, this tendency for law enforcement officers nowadays to dress up in masks! One time gone that was the preserve of thieves and bad mind, generally wicked and cantankerous pplz! Interesting how the cops have taken up that practice, nuh true?
Anyway, here’s a strange one… they had a carjacking here Friday last (July 1). Apparently three armed men wearing masks and bulletproof vests held a construction worker at gunpoint. They attempted to bundle him into his car trunk, but the man resisted and eventually, the three men made off with the car but left the man. (’im lucky eeeh?)
The carjacking was all over the radio waves and the R.C.I.P. gave out a description of the vehicle and asked people to be on the lookout for it. They advised people not to approach the carjackers because they were to be considered armend and dangerous.
Tuesday morning I heard on the radio that the car was found. The men were not found, howerver the police were investigating and hoped to apprehend them. They were still asking members of the public with any information which might help their efforts to call them, and they were still warning members of the public, if they saw the man, not to approach them, because they were armed and dangerous…
Now, weren’t these men said to wearing masks? How the hell would we know if we saw them now? What, are they still wearing their masks, or wha’? The masks must be grafted to their faces, to rass!
Still, too much criminal activity is going on nowadays… Steps need to be taken to nip it in the bud, Iyah!
I’ve been keeping up with CaymanNetNews and Cayman Observer online and it seems like, since Ivan, crime has gotten out of control- violent crime in particular.
