Pictures, Anyone?

Some people will want to have a look at pictures of what Ivan the Terrible did to us here in Grand Cayman, I’m thinking… I took a few ‘before’ pics, then didn’t have electricity to run a computer to offload my pics so that I could take a set of ‘after’ pictures. I only got to unload my pictures on Monday, and trust me, by then, tons of cleanup had gone on.
Luckily for those who wanted to see some pictures, I was not the only one with the idea… click here to see the pictures.

How much worse does it need to be? I think what is shown in these photos amounts to devastation/destruction…its bad! I’m refrrring to your saying that the place is not devastated.

I had written on Yammie’s site that I heard about these posh houses that all remained of them were the foundations - I could not conceive that that meant. I now can imagine. I know that life must be uncomfortable in turtle land (where the national bird is the mosquito!!)

Ivan really did do we sumting terrible still tho. I wrote an entry about the situation in Jam-down but I would suggest BBC Caribbean for pictures on Grand Cayman. They’re usually very good for international things like that.
