Bwoy, I am sweating like a pig! I was just shooting some hoops with my nephew. What a lot of fun that was! Its not the first time I’ve tried that, but I don’t think I have played basketball as much as five times in all my life! I actually managed to sink some baskets too! It was pretty cool!
I am just sitting here to cool off before I go to nyam some breakfast of roasted Yellowheart Breadfruit and some fried up ham! Isn’t Christmas time glorious?!

I think I am going to buy a hoop and a basketball when I get back home. The only problem is that my driveway slopes! Maybe I will have to just drag the hoop out into the street when I want to play… if we go halfway down the road, we will be able to play safely, because cars coming from either direction will be able to see us and drive accordingly.
Then I can play some basketball with the neighbours. Of course, they will have to tie up their pit bulls… don’t want to do anything to over-excite their mutts, you done know…
Still, it could be fun. Also, as MBJr. puts on some height, maybe he will take an interest. Maybe I will do that. We shall see. God knows I need the exercise!
I have to be careful though, because my knees started to hurt me after a just a little bit of basketball yesterday… dunno whether thats just the ‘rust’ aquired because of disuse or if its the arthritis (which I do suffer from).
I think I need to investigate some false knees, what do you think? I mean, how much would it cost to get a pair of top class, sports grade false knees put in? Surely I could meet the “mortgage” payments on that?! We’ll have to see about that too…
