Spunky

Happy Friday to all ah oonoo! (to you all!) Hey, this morning, I went outside only to be greeted by this little feller. Apparently he has been abandoned. I found him tied to the lightpole across the street from my gate. Poor little thing was thirsty and hungry, so I took him in and watered him up and chowed him down. MBJr. has christened him Spunky. He is quite a nice little pup, and he is quite game too. I don’t know how someone could abandon him.
I would like to keep him, but the terms of my lease specifically state “No pets!”. I am going to talk to the landlord, see if maybe she got a lease document from someone else and just used it for the lease arrangement with me, or if she is really, firmly against the pet thing. Natty feels she is going to tell me no, but I think I will ask anyway. If she says no, I am going to ask around for people to take him, and if there are no comers, then it’ll be the Humane Society for poor little Spunky. Oonoo say two prayers for God to soften my landlord’s heart, nuh?
Oh, and enjoy the weekend, seen…
Hope your landlady changes her mind. Good luck Spunky!
Good luck with spunky - all my pets are rescue animals and they are the best - and it would be good for MBJr to have a pet!
How cute..at least they tied him to the lightpost. I hope for MBJr and Spunky that the LL let you keep him.

Yes MB, if the landlord is a dog person she will oblige. Just tell her you will keep him outside. Nice lickle pup!!
Aww. What a cute doggie!
that’s just cruel, I’ll never get why people do such evil acts.
I hope your landlord changes her mine.
I wish I could take him.
