Oh Well, Back to Work…

Hail up, my massive. Yes, I am back home, and I don’t have anything of much use to say, except that I am back.
It doesn’t feel as good to be back as usual, perhaps because I scarcely feel like I was away. I am finding that one week really does not a vacation make!
Still, we have nuff (plenty) to thank God for…
- We really enjoyed our mini vacation, so much so that when we left the Fort Lauderdale area, MBJr. looked out the plane window and said, “Goodbye, Auntie Seven, goodbye, Uncle Midas, goodbye Paradise”.
- We had a good flight down, despite the fact that there is a hurricane on the loose out there somewhere
- Apparently that hurricane is going to miss both Jamaica and the Cayman Islands! Yay!
Now if the storm will just peter out before it hits Florida or New Orleans and that area, that would be really good! I have family in Florida and trust me, New Orleans doh need anything more right now! 
So… summer is basically done. Before you look around it’ll be Christmas and another year will have passed us by, just like that… Cho.
Hey, I was looking around my hard drive and I came across that picture up above. I took it somewhere between May and June and I totally forgot I had it on my hard drive. I think the flowers look pretty though, so I decided to post this up for oonoo. Oonoo like it? Right now I am thinking that those flowers heralded the promise of a wonderful summer, and that certainly happened. Jamaica… Fort Lauderdale… connecting with family and friends… Disney, MGM… It was pretty cool over all. Thats one more thing to be thankful to God for, I guess. Now, summers done.
Anyway, I gone to get ready for work. Don’t wanna be late on the first day, now do I? Rat race, I’m back! Did you miss me?

BTW MB for the past couple weeks your comments on my blog have been ending up in the spam area….I have to be going in and purging them everytime. Wonder why that could be happening?….I have’nt changed the spam filter’s settings for more than a year now.
Interesting pictures. Not sure what it says about me but I enjoyed the picture of the flowers more than of the girl…something there just strikes me as not right - not really sure what though

Those flowers look sooo nice & convey such abundance!! Glad de MB family had a nice vacay (mine saw a bit o’ rain–people leavin’ Block Island lookin’ glum enough to puncha de Ferry–well maybe not THAT glum). God is great–it’s been a great summer! Ernesto’ll prob’ly ease up Florida like it did de Caribbean. (Maybe 7 could spend a quick Labour Day weekend in Cayman–sometimes a quick visit to my nephew makes me feel better after mi brother’s vacay-visits.)
It’s good you and your family enjoyed the mini vacation, I aree one week just doesn’t feel like a vacation at all. I think my mother has one of those plannts at her hous, it blooms pink and white flowers.

Now THAT is what I call bouganvillea. I tell Guyanese them don’t know bouganvillea, and I try to describe it, them don’t believe me.
I think the storm will not be much in Florida. I hope. Got siblings there, nephews, cousins…
