Lousy Lunch
I am in the middle of eating a (* boring *) Chicken Caesar salad from Wendy’s right about now… I am really not feeling the salad vibe… Maybe its because I killed a pack of Starbursts first. What do you think? That nice, sweet, juicy taste followed up by the mild taste of the Chicken Caesar… I’m sure thats it. Anyway, I will continue to muscle through it. 
So anyway, I read a couple of interesting news items today! Both of them were really excellent, man! The first one that I will tell you about really warmed the cockles of my heart! Its not everyday one gets to foil a kidnapping, and also not every kidnapping one gets to foil is a kidnapping of the mother of your child and the child herself! Anyway, a breddah from St. Ann, Jamaica managed to do just that! He rammed the kidnappers car off the road, then he attacked the kidnappers when they attempted to flee and now there are two less of the scum walking the Jamaican landscape. 
The second story is quite interesting as well! I actually heard about it from a man I met yesterday at a kiddie party that Natty and I took MBJr. to, but I saw it in the Ja. Gleaner today too… Check this out, a small plane “crashed” in Jamaica yesterday! I put the “crashed” in quotes because this is a pretty new aircraft, fitted out with an interesting safety feature. The aeroplane was fitted with a parachute… a parachute for the plane itself! When the plane was going down, the parachute deployed and the plane floated down to the ground gently enough that only one passenger suffered any injuries and the injuries were described as minor! Thats a nice little story, innit? 
I just hope that there wasn’t any monkey business going on with regards to that flight, is all! There is some talk about people questioning where the plane went down, given its suggested destination.
Actually, the guy who told me about the plane is interesting… he is a successful businessman, he has this store that sells consumer electronics and its pretty successful, but he told me he is tired of desk jobs and so he has been taking flying lessons. He goes for his license in about two months and he then plans to build his hours as fast as possible. He hopes to fly corporate jets or something like that… He is about forty five years old and he plans to make this career change! He got me thinking still… If I were going to make a career change at this stage of my life, WTF career would I move into? I know! I could open a strip club, couldn’t I?! 
Argh! No, Natty, I was just kidding!

Its a downright shame, isn’t it! I just hate the new low-res pictures that they have been posting recently! Ah wah wrong wid dem doh, heeeh? Cho, man!

If I were to change my career I would become a writer. If I were a totally different person I would get into forensic science or something like that.
Good for the guy who foiled the kidnapping….also for the career changing guy…it takes guts and faith and would be quite exciting.
Something told me not to click on the link, but I am a glutton for punishment. When will I learn? Sigh.
Anyway, maybe if a few men were featured at the Strip Club, Natty would not have a problem with it…consider that when you are setting up your busness plan…

As someone who flies fairly frequently and torments my fellow passenger by gripping them in panic everytime the plane dips (or whatever), I’m happy that something that i’ve always said actually is happening. We need parachute on plane not life-jacket.
Was quite pleased about the kidnapping story. Any news article that results in the death of the wretched criminals is a good one for me.
Last year, I was seriously considering a career change to law. Spoke to a few of my lawyer friends, spoke to people I know who are in my field and made the switch and were just finishing up Norman Manley, went to the University of London website to check out the programme (that’s where I was thinking of doing it). After all that, decided that if I’m changing my career, wanted something more fun, dancing, writing, acting (not that I’m proficient in any of those). Didn’t want to leave one ’stuffy’ field for a next one. Plus, 5 more years of serious study didn’t sit down too well. The most I can manage now is 1 year (which is all another Masters will take).
Bwoy, am seriously thinking ’bout this Wordpress business, but like anybody else, cyan bodder with changes. WEnt on the wordpress website. So tell me, it doesn’t give any problem? I wonder if it’s going to stay free? hmmm, wonder-ponder, think, think.
@ Gela : Well, its free now. They even offer the software itself for free too (which means it would be free even if they started to charge for hosting at wordpress.com, but to run the software, you’d need your own domain.
I didn’t hear about that kidnapping attempt! Then again I have been out of it since school started. Serves them &@%$! right, bastards.

I think I want to open a gym and be a personla trainer! I even have all the plans for the equipment and services it will offer! Maybe I’ll win the Lotto one of these days and get things going.:)
You should carry a bottle of Pickapeppa Sauce in your pocket in case of emergency taste appeal. Make sure you screw the top on tight, though.
