The Elections Are On Again

Hail up to all crew. You know, in a fit of boredom one afternoon prior to Hurricane Dean coming on the scene, I decided to consult with my second favourite Tarot card reader about the results of the upcoming election. Why with my second favourite one? Well, it really was an issue of availability. My first choice was out at a bar swilling down liquor, while my second choice was easily available via speed dial. Anyway, the picture above gives the results that were predicted. Now I am still not giving you anything clearly, because the predicted results are different depending on if you look at things as being related on a horizontal plane, or on a vertical plane. Don’t understand me? Well, are the cards, “The Devil” and “Death” for Bruce Golding, or are they for Portia? See what I mean?
I will give you a bit of reading and a simple statement that will give you a very good hint as to what the predicted results were though…
Here is the article : In today’s Sunday Gleaner, Don Robotham, who used to teach me Sociology when I was at IMP/UWI, has written an interesting piece commenting on the recent State of Emergency, the postponement of elections, and the new election date. You should give that a read, as it gives you an interesting viewpoint on the battle being waged between the two Jamaican political parties. Don Robotham suggests in that article that the State of Emergency and the postponement of elections were an attempt to manipulate things on the political scene in Jamaica.
Here is the statement : Based on what Robotham suggests about the new election date in this article, the results predicted by the Tarot cards still seem to be reasonable.
There! The results predicted should be clear as mud now, nuh true?
So, do I put much stock in Tarot readings? Not really… I do like to hear whats predicted and then to compare that to actual results from time to time though, just like I sometimes do with horoscopes… it can be pretty interesting. Still, if my Tarot reader suggested that jockey Trevor Simpson was going to steer “Moon Dancer” to victory in the 5th race at Caymanas Park on the next race day, I might really put a money on “Moon Dancer”, but it would be a win or place bet, and I wouldn’t put down more than say KY$25. Everybody wishes they could see into the future from time to time though, don’t they?
By the way, I am just realising how well known I am becoming due to this whole blogging thing. Check this, I got a comment on my previous post from none other than Patrick Manning, the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago! Yes, rasta, and based upon his comment, he considers me in a favourable light and he is concerned about my welfare…. ![]()
Well, either its that or he is threatening me!
But since I rarely/never comment on Trini politics, I shouldn’t be in Patrick’s bad books, so I will look at his comment in a favourable light. Hey, you readers ought to recognise that if you comment here frequently, you will soon be hobnobbing with the who’s who on the political scene right across the Caribean! First Patrick Manning, then the rest of the Caribbean leaders will be in my thrall!
With that in mind, put something in the comment collection box, and nuh bodda with no dibby dibby coins either. Give generously!
I have a question for you? Which way do you think the elections in Jamaica will go… comment anonymously if oonoo ‘fraid that people might view your comment as an indication of your loyalties and desires…
My birthday gift would be a green day all bright with the birds and the setting of the shimmering sunlight.
Now MB yuh sure is not a fake that how we know is really Patrick Mannings …. a not hating but how do we know???
LOL LOLOL LOL LOL to think i actually thought for a moment.
Bobby, don’t be a playa hater! Of course he is the real deal! What are you saying, that I am not interesting enough to get Patrick to read my blog?!

I am not hiding anything. I am seriously concerned about how all these promises being made by the JLP are going to be financed. If there was a serious 3 rd party they may have gotten my vote.
Right now the polls say they are split down the middle in the post-Dean period. I gather that Team Portia is more into ground work than air work..I listened to Paul Burke being interviewed by Cliff Hughes and it is clear that they are heavy on the ground.
The race is tight and not for the faint hearted. Anyone who can say that either will win is not being truthful or objective. We have to wait and see…..
However, seats to watch carefully are Dabdoub vs. Vaz, Bunting vs. Porteous and Shaw vs. Lyn. Dabdoub, Bunting and Lyn are new candidates and already the polls say there is dead heat in those areas….so this is why we really can’t say…..
I cyaan predict the winner…all I know is it is going to be close. But if you want a real Tarot reading, why you nuh caaal Miss Cleo!?
BTW, whatever became of her??
put the x beside the head!
Lol
JLP is going to win.
Gela….don’t be so sure!! Right now nobody can predict a thing….JLP is “in your face”, I agree but it doesn’t guarantee a thing. Remember that in the Post-Dean polls they little edge they had over the PNP came right back down. I think just about every Jamaican is going to be on edge on September 3.
[...] Mad Bull consults his “second favourite Tarot card reader” to determine the results of the upcoming Jamaican elections - and the results are “clear as mud”. Share This [...]
Firstly - why would Patrick Manning - who is warning you of the potetnial risks of posting so much info on the internet - have a blog entitled “The Secret Blog of Patrick Manning”??? Is it me or does that seem a bit odd???
Secondly, I stand with jamaican girl - I’m really not into either party!!! If I were at home and had a vote, i may well not have used it this time around!!!
I think its truly time we change course - but REALLY change course from these two political parties that have held our home in a deadlock of garrision politicking, one-step-forward: three steps back for the past 45 years!!!
Is there no viable third option in sight? If not, we salt!!! I also thought Dawn Ritch’s article yesterday was interesting - take a look at that too - made sense to me!!! Anyways, what do i know?
Just checked out the so-called secret blog of patrick manning -
I have serious doubts about that one… BTW Bro - he mentions you in another of his posts…
I just read on another blog where someone suggested that they should have had the election THEN hand out all the aid. The people should have waited until such time to get all the stuff sent for them…oh boy…this is why this week I stopped blogging and started reading…I need to hear what people were saying and I am hearing some ridiculous stuff…
Obviously horizontal. I’m in favour of Bruce. Time fi a change! Glad to see that some important people are reading your blog. Getting famous are we?
Mad Bull…I am hoping you don’t beleive that it is truly Patrick Manning……Leon….wha yuh seh? Changing course? I take it you live in the inner city and collecting zinc, government cheque, food stuff, promised a new home in the Inner City Project? Loan money for a “micro-project? I hope so eh nuh…cos is dose people have the most of di vote……

Look guys just go out there and vote on the bell so a can ring in my birthday ,,,nah a mean ring it out yeah that sound right
The tomato will win. Some will call it ‘tomayto’. Some will say ‘tomahto’.
Same difference
Hey I believe you are well known. You could probably decide which way the vote will go if you state your position!!!
Give it a try!!
lol
Hmph! Don Robotham! Don’t know how and why NYU — or is it CUNY — employed this ex-commie and WPJ card-carrying member.
Seriously, can we take him serious? Isn’t this the same Don Robotham who was canvassing PNP delegates via Gleaner — of all the places, LOL — to elect Omar Davies as PNP president, thus ensuring the latter would become Prime Minister?
As Dawn Ritch pointed out, him run weh go a NY.
Stay there.
