These Are the Freaky Days, But…

I quite like the number one hit song “The Days” by Busy Signal, and I have to agree with him, there is a lot of madness going on everywhere! Murder and mayhem everywhere, and not even the babes and the sucklings are being spared. Still and all, with all of that going on, I would be lying if I were to say that things were all bad. I feel that this period is proving to be a pretty decent time in my life. Things are not wildly exciting; still, they are sorta nice, and I can deal with that.

I like where I am working now… the work is proving to be quite interesting! I don’t get in as much programming or DBA type work as I would like, but surprisingly, I find myself enjoying what I am doing. Thats a good thing. On top of that, I really like the place I work, in terms of the way it is run. I get on with most people. Thats normal for me, but there are usually at least one or two awful folk around to keep you on your toes… here, I can only think of one such person, or at least, if there are others, they have not yet revealed themself to me. I hope it stays that way.

Of course, the money is not perfect, but I am going to watch it for a bit and see “what can gwaan for me“. (whether things won’t pan out well, given a bit of time.)

Natty remains unsatisfied with the amount of help I give her around the house, and therefore I get cussed out sometimes, but all and all, right now we are having a really nice time together. At least, I feel that way! She might have other ideas… We shall see, if she deigns to comment.

MBJr. is fun! He is doing well in school, and he is a loving, intelligent, funny, fun-loving boy who is loved by all, or at least, by most people. I wish he would take more interest in football / sports in general. I wish that he had more kids around to play with. I wish plenty of things for him really, but all and all, he is a great kid and I am really lucky to have him.

I have some nice friends over here. They are cool peeps. They are great to hang with, they will look out for you and do stuff for you… I’d like to think that they are not fairweather friends. I do miss my bredrins from when I was back upon the rock, I often wish they were around to chill with as well, and I wish that they would come for a visit now and again, but hey! At least the Lord has seen to it that I am surrounded once again by some other irie people!

I like Cayman. Yeah, it small! Everybody knows your business! You see all the same people when you go out, and you have to drive on the same roads everyday… still, the place is pretty, overall the people are friendly, there are things for you to do, or at least, for me to do, because I love the bar scene. (Whats not to like. Pretty bartenders, pool tables aplenty, lots of liquor, good vibes…) Then there is the beach! Don’t forget the beach! Then if you are into fitness and sports and such, there are always some sporting leagues going on, whether its regular big field football, five-a-side indoor soccer, flag football, rugby, running, swimming, biking, softball/baseball, basketball, volleyball, yadda, yadda, yadda…
And if you feel like taking a break from it all, there are some pretty interesting places in the near vicinity. Once you can source some money, you are just a short hop away from them. There are things to do for sure! The only thing is, it will usually cost you a pretty penny! :???:

Definitely, when I look at my life right now, I am not going to complain. There are things going on that I don’t like, one of them being some stuff with Mamacita, for instance. Hopefully, things will resolve themselves in that area by year end! At least, I really hope so!
But no… I don’t think I should complain. No, right now, I am saying, “Thank you, Massa God! Much respect!!”.

I am going to note it down here on the blog too, because at some point later I may feel absolutely the opposite! You know how it goes! Life is not a static thing. Rather, its a flow! Things change, and sometimes they change for the better and sometimes they change for the worse. I recognise that, and I feel that it would be a good thing if I happen to be browsing through my blog at some point in the future when I am on a low, and I find this post and read it and take cheer from the fact that, yeah, there were some good times mixed in with the bitter, sour limes that life often serves up for us humans!

I think I will share a couple of jokes with you now and then I am going to go chill with Natty. Here are the jokes:

Pre-Nuptial Agreements

A secretary for a foreign embassy was entertaining a wealthy foreign ambassador during lunch at a very expensive restaurant in New York. The ambassador was so enthralled by the beauty and presence of this secretary that he asked her to marry him. The secretary was startled, but remembered that her boss told her never to insult foreign dignitaries, so she decided to let him down easy.
“I’ll only marry you under three conditions.” she said.
“Anything, anything,” said the ambassador.
“First, you must buy me a 14-karat gold wedding band with a 72 carat diamond, along with a 28-inch studded matching necklace for our engagement.”
Without hesitation, the ambassador picked up his cellular phone, called his personal accountant, told him the instructions, and said, “Yes, yes, I buy, I buy!”
The secretary thought that her first request was too easy, so she thought of a more difficult situation.
“Second, I want you to build me a 58-acre mansion in the richest part of the Hamptons along with a 40-acre summer home in the sweetest vineyards of France.”.
The ambassador picked up his phone, called his personal broker in New York, then called another broker in France, and after his quick conversation, he said, “Yes, yes, I build, I build!”
The secretary was very startled, and knew she must think of a final request that would be impossible to live up to.
“Finally,” she said. “I’ll only marry you if you have a 10-inch penis.”
A sad face befell the ambassador, and he cupped his face in his hands. After weeping in his native language for a few minutes, the ambassador slowly lifted his head and said, “Ok, ok, I cut, I cut!”.

Heart Trouble

So this chick complained about a heart problem and her GP referred her to a cardiologist. “Doctor, I have a peculiar problem. You see, my husband has this 14″ dick and everytime we have sex, I can feel it hammering my heart! The palpitations are really bad!”
The doctor goes, “Hmmmmhhh..lessee…that should not be too much of a problem to fix. You could leave him. Get a new man with less dick… or, we can operate on him and take oh, say 6 inches or so off that bad boy. 8 inches ought to be good enough for him!”.
The woman was outraged. “Sweet Jesus, NO! Like hell you will! I came to you because you’re a cardiologist! Why can’t you just move my heart a little further up to the left?”

Can’t Fool the Kids Nowadays

A teacher was telling her students about human anatomy in a sex education class. She took her pointer and pointed to the picture of a male and a female. “The female has two breasts and one vagina. The male has one penis.”.

A little boy in the front row jumped up and said that the teacher was wrong. “My daddy has two penises. He has a short one that he pees with and a long one that he brushes Mommy’s teeth with!”.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the jokes! I know I did. Peace, my bredrins & sistrens.
