Teef Nuh Fi Prosper!
So I have read of Marion Jones finally coming clean… (Click here for that story)
This is not news to any of us. I suspected her from the running of the Olympic heats, to rass! The woman was more muscular than most men I know of. She had muscles I didn’t even know existed. Then she failed her drug tests and I was like, “Uh huh… I knew it!”. And through all her denials, I was saying, “Cho, she tink say man a fool! Mek she guwey! We know say she a liard!!!”.
I might even have written about that on this blog before, but I can’t be bothered to go back and search for any previous posts. That is left as an exercise for you, the reader. Even if you can’t find such a post, I’m sure you will turn up something else thats interesting… 
So I decided to see who would be awarded the gold medals if they take her medals away, which they should!
Nope! Merlene Ottey still didn’t win anything! Seems we would get a silver and a bronze for the 2000 Olympics 100 metres and a bronze in the 200 metres. Click here and see if you agree with me. Of course, I am assuming that if they take away her medals, they would go to the second place persons in all her events.
Didn’t Jones take part in the 1996 Olympics as well? Hmmm… When in doubt, check Wikipedia.org, my friends. Merlene Ottey got two silvers here, but unfortunately, she did not run second to Marion Jones in either the 100 or the 200 metres events. 
Oh well. At least the thief never prospered.

What’s hurtful is that the person who’s going to move up to gold (the thanou girl from Greece) was under some drug suspicion as well. No wonder ppor Merlene couldn’t get an olympic gold, all those wretched drug cheats.
So what’s up with the pregant Ja woman that the hospitals kicked out of C.I. telling her to go have her baby in Ja? She had the baby on the plane coming to Ja? It’s in today’s papers, check it online, don’t remember if it’s Observer or Gleaner.

didn’t read the other posts. Yeah, they need to put aside Flo-Jo’s record. Because of her drug-tainted incredible time, no other female can get a chance to break the 100m record.

Don’t lose track of the fact that Marion’s coach at the time is Jamaican, Trevor Graham. He influenced her and helped in supplying her with her drugs. Now, she didn’t have to take it, but that’s a different story.
Fact remains for those who really know is that, all sports are “dirty” and athletes that are in big revenue sports get more protection and face more lenient penalties while other sports like track & field which doesn’t command the kind of tv revenue like baseball or basketball relies heavily on portraying a clean image in keeping its limited fan base. Additionally, track is the only sport that has titles like “world’s fastest” which are far less subjective than say the world’s best football player.
Such is life, the only surprise is that she confessed. Which suggests to me that someone was going to inform on her.
