Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate that. That includes my Caymanian bredrins and sistren, incidentally, who go around the place wishing all and sundry “Happy Thanksgiving”, even though its a U.S. holiday and not a Caymanian one. I found that rather interesting. I am not going to knock it too much still, because I have been invited to a Thanksgiving dinner and I like turkey still, so…
People, I haven’t forgotten you! Its just that I-an-I have been quite busy, rasta! I am talking about the Gym! Plus work! Plus setting up PCs for a couple of other people and preparing to rebuild my own PC. (i.e. Getting codes for the O/S I plan to use! Locating all the drivers! Trying to figure out the best way to handle the upgrade on a dual boot system I have, etc.) Plus preparing to load a new file unto my free-to-air satellite receiver (locating the right file, doing the reading, making sure you have the right loader, etc…). And then more of the same! Busy!
I am going to try to write a post or two between now and Monday though. Look out for a little sup’m sup’m. Anyway, since I have not written anything for y’all for a bit and since I am not posting a blockbuster post for you tonight, I have decided to give you a little game to play instead. The game is contained in an Excel spreadsheet, and you have to download it to play it. Now all I can offer you in the way of assurances that nothing will happen to your PC if you download and run this spreadsheet is that I have had it and been playing it for more than a week now and my PC is great! Also, I know a fair number of people who have also downloaded the game and been playing it, and they’re good too! If something should happen to your PC because you downloaded or played this game, me nuh response! If you have issues with that, do not download the game! Ok… now that the disclaimer is out of the way, on to the game!

The game involves trying to “throw” a paper plane and getting it to go as far as possible. I sent it to Seven by email and she was trying to dust me out, but so far, she hasn’t! I challenge you all to try to dust me out! So far, I have gotten it to go 53+ metres. Think you can do better? Just click on the picture above showing the distance I threw the plane to download the game, seen? Its better you save the spreadsheet on your hard drive and then execute it, rather than just running it straight. Have fun, and I bet you can’t beat my score!
Anyway, TTYL still! Going to go nyam some turkey! ![]()

Anyway, Rufie, Marc Antony and the wee (well not so wee anymore) one are here..for the dinner for daddy tomorrow night. It woulda nice if this rass rain woulda stop fall! Otherwise we may be forced to house some 40 odd people inna de carport and patio tomorrow nite!

Sure, sure… anything you say. Try this game. Its an especially nice time waster 4 when u r bored @ werk.
Boss man, putting a file on an FTA box, setting up a couple pc’s and thinking about rebuilding your pc are not even poor excuses for not posting something for us to read. I think its that paper airplane spreadsheet foolishness that is taking up your time, time which should be spent blogging.
Big man like you supposed to MAKE paper airplane not preten bout dem pon computer star. A hope sey MBjr mek a real plane an show yu how it fi go.
Anyway, since a you hold dis nuh.

‘Lawd, mi busy busy.’
‘I’ve been playing this game for over a week now…’
I had to laugh!
So you think I have been playing it for a week? And if you squeeze a five minutes here and a ten minutes here, what is wrong with that?
I haven’t heard anyone here in Jamaica wishing anyone Happy Thanksgiving, but I did go to a Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday. i don’t celebrate it at all, as I am not American….nor Caymanian
but I can’t give up on an opportunity to gobble down some good food!
Stunner, suppose you did taste the turkey I had last nite? They put sup’m dem call a glaze on it, seen? The thing tun into Ambrosia to bakside! Is all I could do not to beg the people food to carry home. I think Natty and I need to buy a turkey and try a thing tomorrow then invite the people over to test our efforts out! After all, the Americans do call it the Thanksgiving Weekend!
Don’t particularly like turkey..chicken’s the way to go
