Yesterday…
I watched the MotoGP French Grand Prix at Le Mans yesterday. First time I’ve ever watched a whole motorcycle race on TV. Fascinating stuff. Looks like it requires nuff skill, courage and concentration. The race was won by Valentino Rossi, it was his second win from five starts this season and his 90th win overall. Good stuff! Here is a pic.

I also watched the Italian Serie A game in which Inter Milan became the champions. Again, pretty interesting stuff. They were playing a game against Parma and Roma was playing Catania. Roma and Inter were almost neck and neck for the Championship, meanwhile Parma and Catania were playing their hearts out to avoid relegation. Catania managed to draw level with Roma at 1-1 near the very end of the match after forcing many chances on Roma’s goal. Parma looked pretty good in the first half, but then Inter took control through two brilliant second half strikes by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and the rest is history. Inter are champions, Roma was second, Catania are still going to be playing in Serie A and I guess Parma got relegated.

The MotoGP and the Inter game were on ESPN. Guess who was one of the commentators for the football game? Nuh Trinidad and Tobago’s own Shaka Hislop. It was nice to hear a Caribbean voice commenting.
Next I went to the gym… I worked legs. It was great! ![]()
Next MBJr. and I went to my office’s Family Beach Day. It was decent. MBJr. enjoyed himself, all except for the wet bike ride! I don’t think he let me pass 10 miles per hour even once. Pure screaming and caterwauling!
There were a couple hot girls at the beach (no, Natty, I am not talking about women who work at my office), a feast for the eyes, and my office laid down some nice food and drinks as well.
In the evening, MBJr. and I went to my bredrin’s house and took Simba for a walk. My bredrin came along with his Pit Bull, Sanchez. It was fun, afterwards we let the dogs off the leash to play while we chatted and shot the breeze. Its the first time I have let Simba off the leash to play with Sanchez. I was pleasantly surprised that Sanchez didn’t savage Simba, even though they did get up to a lot of rough and tumble. Sanchez is really a great ambassador for the American Pit Bull Terrier breed. He is a really nice dog! Very friendly and energetic. Plays well with kids too. This isn’t Sanchez but he looks an awful lot like this…
In the night, I read some more of my latest book, “The Leopard Hunts in Darkness” by Wilbur Smith, and then I sat watching “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” with Natty. Hey, Kim Kardashian is pretty hot, you know! She has a nice little bunkie too (Bunkie is the name the Caymanians give to the ass.) Check her out.

Click on the link above to go look at a series of pictures of her. Nice, huh?
What else me have to tell oonoo? No mucho, I guess.
What am I going to do today? You DO remember its a public holiday here, right? I’m not sure what I am going to do…. I know the gym and walking Simba will be involved (MBJr. will request that we go up there to do that, and I also want to go up as well), but apart from that, the day is totally unscripted. I want it to be nice and stress free though.
Boring post, I know. I think I’ll leave you all with a joke or two, just to make up for that.
Marital Counselling
A husband and wife came for counseling after 20 years of marriage. When asked what the problem was, the wife went into a passionate, painful tirade listing every problem they had ever had in the 20 years they had been married.
She went on and on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable, an entire laundry list of unmet needs she had endured over the course of their marriage.
Finally, after allowing this to go on for a sufficient length of time, the therapist got up, walked around the desk and, after asking the wife to stand, embraced and kissed her passionately as her husband watched with a raised eyebrow. The woman shut up and quietly sat down as though in a daze.
The therapist turned to the husband and said, “This is what your wife needs at least three times a week. Can you do this?”
The husband thought for a moment and replied, “Well, I can drop her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on Fridays, I fish.”
Stumpy and His Wife
Stumpy and his wife Martha went to the state fair every year. Every year Stumpy would say, “Martha, I’d like to ride in that there airplane.” And every year Martha would say, “I know Stumpy, but that airplane ride costs ten dollars, and ten dollars is ten dollars.”
One year Stumpy and Martha went to the fair and Stumpy said, “Martha, I’m 71 years old. If I don’t ride that airplane this year I may never get another chance.”. Martha replied, “Stumpy, that there airplane ride costs ten dollars, and ten dollars is ten dollars.”.
The pilot overheard them and said, “Folks, I’ll make you a deal, I’ll take you both up for a ride. If you can stay quiet for the entire ride and not say one word, I won’t charge you, but if you say one word it’s ten dollars.”.
Stumpy and Martha agreed and up they went. The pilot did all kinds of twists and turns, rolls and dives, but not a word was heard. He did all his tricks over again, but still not a word. They landed and the pilot turned to Stumpy, “By golly, I did everything I could think of to get you to yell out, but you didn’t.”
Stumpy replied, “Well, I was gonna say something when Martha fell out, but ten dollars is ten dollars.”
Well, I am gone again. Going to go see what sporting events I can find on TV. TTYL!
Kims behind is a monument…
